First Baptist Church of Canton, Mississippi, has been a cornerstone of faith and community since its founding in 1871. Established with approximately 12 charter families under the leadership of Rev. J.B. Daniel, the church began its mission to lead others to Christ . Over the years, the congregation has grown and evolved, steadfastly upholding its commitment to worship, discipleship, and service. Today, First Baptist Church continues to be a vibrant presence in Canton, offering ministries for all ages and striving to cultivate a Christ-centered life among its members. We are looking forward to your visit! We’re an easy drive off Exit 119 from Interstate 55. Just head east on Hwy 22 for 2 miles and you can’t miss us on Fulton Street. If you have any trouble or questions regarding your trip, we are happy to help with a quick phone call below!

Our ushers are more than happy to assist those in need to get to their vehicles. Feel free to call ahead, if you like, to arrange for someone to meet you before services.

Our side entrance to our worship center will allow entrance for wheelchairs, as well as our family life center across the street.

Where do I enter for Worship?2025-04-17T10:57:56-05:00

You are welcome to use our side entrances or our main entry for worship (under the columns). Please keep in mind, many of these doors will be locked during worship, but an usher should be nearby to allow entrance after the beginning of worship.
