First Baptist Church of Canton, Mississippi, has been a cornerstone of faith and community since its founding in 1871. Established with approximately 12 charter families under the leadership of Rev. J.B. Daniel, the church began its mission to lead others to Christ . Over the years, the congregation has grown and evolved, steadfastly upholding its commitment to worship, discipleship, and service. Today, First Baptist Church continues to be a vibrant presence in Canton, offering ministries for all ages and striving to cultivate a Christ-centered life among its members. Common Questions
Our greeters are more than happy to assist those in need to get to and from their vehicles to the worship center.
Our side entrance to our worship center will allow entrance for wheelchairs, as well as our family life center across the street. There will be a golf cart and elevator available for use to those who need it.
You are welcome to use our side entrances or our main entry for worship (under the columns). We will have greeters to assist you.
